about

Cactus Killer Records is proud to release PHILLIP ENO's new album, "Orlando." Their first official album since 2008, Nerissa & Lito Vales present a collection of lounge, e-z listening and French pop covers dedicated to Lito's father, who recently passed away this year. The album features renditions of Brigitte Bardot's "Une Histoire De Plage," Francoise Hardy's "This Little Heart (Ce Petit Coeur)," The Ink Spot's "When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano" (Glenn Miller, a personal favorite of Orlando Vales, also recorded a version), Juan Garcia Esquivel's "Question Mark (What Can You Do?)," Les Baxter & 101 Strings' "On a Warm Night," as well as a karaoke version of Filipina singer Pilita's "Ang Pipit." Tying it all together are a couple original instrumentals to create a groovy, out of this world, pop memorial.

Phillip Eno formed in 2003 after retiring their previous project, Uncletoe’s Portasound. ... more
